Actress Miya George welcomes her first child, a baby boy!

Mollywood star Miya George who tied the knot with businessman Ashwin Philip last year has been blessed with a baby boy. The actress shared a family photo in which she can be seen holding her son with Ashwin standing beside them. She captioned her post, "It's a Boy - Luca Joseph Philip (sic)." Miya married  Ashwin Philip in a low-key wedding ceremony in Kerala with just 50 people in attendance. Miya made her acting debut with 2010 Malayalam film Oru Small Family. She has predominantly worked in Malayalam film and her other movies include Memories, Red Wine, Cousins, The Great Father and Sherlock Toms.

On the work front, Miya has number of films in her kitty including  Vikram’s Cobra. Cobra is a heist thriller, directed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced by SS Lalit Kumar under the banner Seven Screen Studios and also starring Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, Roshan Mathew and Irfan Pathan in the lead alongside others. The movie marks the Tamil debut of KGF fame Srinidhi Shetty and also the film debut of Irfan Pathan. Cobra has music by AR Rahman, cinematography by Harish Kannan and editing by Bhuvan Srinivasan. Miya's last release was Malayalam film Driving License. The film met with a positive response from critics and was a commercial success at the box office. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu, with Miya George, Deepti Sati, Saiju Kurup, Suresh Krishna, Lalu Alex, Major Ravi, and Nandhu in supporting roles. The film's music was jointly composed by Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha Nair.
