Television actress Shrenu Parikh of Ishqbaaz fame has revealed that she has been tested positive for coronavirus. The 30-year old is currently recovering at her hometown in Gujarat. The news was confirmed by Shrenu on her Instagram account. In her post, she was thankful to all the healthcare workers who are treating the patients with compassion during such "scary times".The actor, who was in Mumbai when the nationwide lockdown was announced, travelled to Vadodara in May. She got permission to travel by road from the authorities of both the states (Gujarat and Maharashtra). 

Many of her TV friends from the industry and fans across wished her speedy recovery.Shrenu was also seen in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir and Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna. Another Ishqbaaaz actor Additi Gupta had also tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this month. Earlier, Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Parth Samthaan was also diagnosed with Covid-19. Parth shared the news of his diagnosis on Twitter. The shoot of the show has been stopped and cast and crew members who were in close contact with him have been asked to undergo tests.
