Amazon Prime Video buys telecast rights of Vicky and Katrina's wedding for Rs.80 crore?

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's wedding festivities have begun at Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. Now the latest buzz is that, Katrina and Vicky have sold the telecast rights of their wedding to Amazon Prime Video for Rs 80 crore as per a report in mid-day. It is because of this whopping deal, Katrina and Vicky got their guests also to sign NDAs so that nothing from the wedding is leaked before it is streamed on OTT. Vicky and Katrina's wedding series will capture their romance from friends to their roka ceremony and will also include the four-day gala celebration in Rajasthan. 

Vicky and Katrina's wedding video will reportedly debut on the digital platform in early 2022. Interestingly, back in 2019, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had also struck a deal with an OTT giant to document their wedding for a series. As part of the NDAs, guests have been requested to maintain privacy and refrain from leaking any pictures from the venue. A note shared with the guests read, "We request you to please leave your mobile phones in your respective rooms and refrain from posting pictures or using social media for any of the ceremonies and events." Apart from discouraging the use of mobile phones, Vicky and Katrina have also got secret codes in place for their 120 guests. Among the invitees are Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, who flew to Jaipur yesterday. Neha and Katrina are very close friends and co-starred in the films Singh Is Kinng and De Dana Dan.
