The rising number of Coronavirus cases across the globe has thrown plans of numerous Bollywood celebrities out of place. According to a report published in Pinkvilla actresses, Bipasha Basu and Sonali Bendre have apparently cancelled their USA trips due to the virus scare. Bipasha Basu was to be the Chief Guest at South Asian Women Empowerment Award on March 22 in New Jersey and many other cities like Fermont and New York. The actress has informed the organisers to postpone the event due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Meanwhile, Sonali Bendre was also supposed to be there in New York and Dallas for a Women's Day programme but the actress has asked to cancel the event. India on Wednesday evening decided to virtually quarantine itself from the rest of the world, suspending all visas, except those issued for diplomatic, official, UN-international organisations, employment and projects till April 15. The decision aims to protect Indian citizens by avoiding import of infected cases from outside the country, the primary source of infection so far. On the other hand, WHO has declared coronavirus a pandemic.
