Boney Kapoor remembers Sridevi while accepting ANR Award

Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor broke into tears after accepting Akkineni Nageswara Rao National Award on behalf of his late wife Sridevi.

Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor broke into tears after accepting Akkineni Nageswara Rao National Award on behalf of his late wife Sridevi. At the same event actress Rekha was also felicitated for her cinematic achievements. The award was presented by superstar Chiranjeevi. ANR National Awards function was held in Hyderabad. In the function, many prominent personalities of Hindi and Telugu film industries were seen together.  

While receiving the honour, Kapoor broke down as he remembered Sridevi and said, "I'm sure she would have felt humbled to receive this award. I accept this on her behalf with humility."Sridevi who is often regarded as the first female superstar of India passed away on Feb 24, 2018. Boney and Sridevi tied the knot in 1996 and have two children Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Boney who has produced numerous successful films took to Twitter and thanked the jury for honouring Srivedi with the prestigious award. Check out Boney's tweet here......
