Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 6: Vicky Kaushal's Film Gets Big Boost on Shiv Jayanti, Set to Cross Rs 200 Crore

Vicky Kaushal-starrer Chhaava is set to cross the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office after witnessing its highest single-day collection on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti. The historical drama on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj reportedly earned Rs 32 crore on Wednesday, February 19.

The film’s sixth-day earnings surpassed its opening-day collection of Rs 31 crore. However, Monday saw a dip to Rs 24 crore, followed by minimal growth on Tuesday, bringing its total box office tally to an estimated Rs 197.75 crore net across all languages in India.

Chhaava is set to become the first release of 2025 to surpass the Rs 200 crore benchmark. Additionally, it is inching closer to becoming the highest-grossing film of Kaushal’s career. His 2019 film, Uri: The Surgical Strike, remains his top-earning project, with a total collection of Rs 244.14 crore.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava features Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, while South superstar Rashmika Mandanna plays Maharani Yesubai. Bollywood star Akshaye Khanna portrays Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The film also stars Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, and Vineet Kumar in pivotal roles.

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal is set to star in Love and War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He will also be seen in Dinesh Vijan's Mahaavatar.
