Soon after the message went viral, Kareena's friend, producer Rhea Kapoor wrote, " Congratulations Kareena Kapoor Khan my lucky charm, veere for life. Guess which producer is on the other end of baby Khan no. 2? #rulebreakers #foreverheroine." Sharing Rhea's story on her handle, Kareena wrote, "Can't wait," along with three heart emojis.
Rhea in her message dropped a hint, on the possibility of a sequel to their 2018 film, Veere Di Wedding which starred Kareena Kapoor in a key role. The film, marked Kareena’s first film after the birth of her son, Taimur Ali Khan. Then, it marked Sonam Kapoor’s first film after her wedding to Anand Ahuja. The film also brought Kareena and Sonam together on the silver screen for the first time. Coming back to Kareena, the actress is currently, shooting for Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, which has Aamir Khan playing the titular role. The film, a remake of the critically acclaimed Hollywood blockbuster Forrest Gump.
