Did Kareena Kapoor get infected with COVID-19 at Karan Johar's dinner party?

Several Bollywood celebrities such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora, Seema Khan, Maheep Kapoor and others recently tested positive for Covid-19 after attending a party at Karan Johar’s house. While Seema was the first to contract the novel coronavirus, Kareena, Amrita and Maheep tested positive later. Now according to reports, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation staff reached filmmaker Karan Johar’s residence for sanitization as many of them got infected during a dinner party hosted at Johar’s residence. 

Earlier, BMC had claimed that Kareena and Amrita have been flouting COVID-19 norms and attending parties despite testing positive for the deadly virus. Soon after it was reported that Bebo had tested positive for COVID-19, the official spokesperson of the actress had given a clarification on Monday and revealed that she had contracted the virus at a private dinner recently. Kareena on her part released a official statement saying,  “I have tested positive for Covid. I immediately isolated myself while following all medical protocols. I request anyone who has come in contact with me to please get tested. My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms. Thankfully, I am feeling ok and hope to be up and about soon.”
