Disha Vakani who rose to fame with popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is all set to make a comeback on the show after a gap of three long years. According to reports the actress will be seen in a series of special episodes. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will complete 12 years next month. Disha shot her last episode in 2017 and then bid adieu to the show due to her maternity. The makers of the show are yet to make an official announcement on the latest developments. 

Meanwhile, the team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is expected to begin the shooting soon as per the state government guidelines.  Earlier producer Asit Modi had welcomed the decision of Maharashtra government to resume the shoot with all the rules and regulations. One of India's longest running television shows, the sitcom has developed a cult following over the years.  Disha who essays a integral role in the show is quite famous with the audience for her unique style, funny laughter and for  her passion for Garba.
