The person who was arrested today in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case has a direct connection with Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty according to a Times Now report.This acts as the first breakthrough in the Sushant Singh Rajput death probe as far as the CBI investigation is concerned. Additionally, SSR’s former manager Shruti Modi who was featured in the drug chats with Rhea, through her lawyer disclosed the biggest supplier in Mumbai is a controversial politically linked celebrity builder. The NCB had arrested two persons on Tuesday, and also informed of 3.5 kgs of marijuana being seized. The NCB is probing Rhea, the prime accused in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, after leak of her alleged chats and the Enforcement Directorate submitting proof to the Central Bureau of Investigation currently involved in the investigation.Over the past few days, Rhea and Showik have been questioned in connection with Sushant’s death case and
once again, on Monday, they arrived at the DRDO guest house for interrogation by CBI. Several others like Siddharth Pithani, Samuel Miranda, Sushant’s house helps Dipesh, Keshav and Neeraj also have been quizzed by the CBI over the last few days. It was reported that Rhea was quizzed about the reason behind their break up and why she did not check up on Sushant and his health between June 8 to June 14. Apart from this, Showik also is reportedly being questioned in the case. Earlier, in the day today, the CBI had summoned Rhea's parents Indrajit Chakraborty and her mother Sandhya Chakraborty for questioning. Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found dead in his apartment in suburban Bandra on June 14. Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family has been accused by the late actor's father of abetting his son's suicide, among other charges. The case has now been transferred to the CBI on the orders of the Supreme Court.
