A day after unseen chats of Mahesh Bhatt and Rhea Chakraborty went viral on social media speculations were rife that the director has suffered a heart-attack. A few  tweets also went viral saying the veteran filmmaker fell ill to avoid being quizzed by the CBI in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. However in a interview with Bombay Times, a family member from the Bhatt's dismissed the rumours of Alia Bhatt's father being hospitalized. Another source added, “People spreading false information is uncalled for. He is doing fine and hasn’t been rushed anywhere. He is hale and hearty. People need to be careful about what they write. There’s too much viciousness on social media. No one wants to check facts before spreading gossip.”

Recently the WhatsApp chats exchanged between Rhea Chakraborty and Mahesh Bhatt on June 8 got exposed. The messages seems to suggest that the ‘Jalebi’ actress has informed Bhatt of the fact that she was leaving her boyfriend, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, on that day. It further also hints that her father might not have been happy about her relationship with Sushant, and that Bhatt had advised her against it. After the chats went viral the Sadak 2 filmmaker was brutally trolled. The filmmaker has been at the end receiving end of hateful messages after the tragic demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
