Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Mont Blanc residence in Mumbai’s Bandra on June 14 last year. Now a year later, his fans have gathered outside his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai to pay their tributes to the actor. Earlier, in the day, Ankita Lokhande, Sushant's former girlfriend decided to remember Sushant with all the happy memories that they shared. She curated a special video, which had moments they spent together - from their Pavitra Rishta days to vacations and events they attended together. Adding a broken heart emoji, Ankita Lokhande wrote: "14 June. This was our journey! Phir milenge chalte chalte."
Sushant made his debut in television in 2008 with 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil' but the actor catapulted to fame in 2009 when he played ‘Manav’ in Zee's popular daily soap Pavitra Rishta, opposite actress Ankita Lokhande. After ruling the audience's hearts in the small screen, the actor made his Bollywood debut in 2003 with Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kai Po Che’ which was immensely loved both by the critics and viewers. His impressive filmography included hits as well critically acclaimed films like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath and Sonchiriya among others. His last project Dil Bechara, co-starring Sanjana Sanghi. The 2019 film Chhichhore, starring Sushant Singh Rajput won the National Award for Best Hindi Feature Film.
