Games of Thrones actress Indira Varma has revealed that she has been diagnosed with coronavirus. The news was confirmed by the actress on her Instagram account. She is the second Games of Thrones star to have contracted COVID-19 after Kristofer Hivju. Indira also revealed that she is currently recovering at her residence. 

Indira played the role of Ellaria Sand in the 8th season of Game of Thrones. She was also part of The Seagull play at the Playhouse Theatre in the West End in London. The play was been stalled due to the ongoing pandemic which has plagued the world.Indira is the latest celebrity from Hollywood to have been infected with the disease after Tom Hanks, Idris Elba, Kristofer Hivju, and Olga Kurylenko.
