'It's disgusting and disturbing': Sona Mohapatra criticises Kangana for calling Rhea a druggie

Post the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, looks like Twitter is the new battle ground for celebs to settle their personal scores. Now, singer Sona Mohapatra took to Twitter to address Kangana Ranaut for her remark on actress Rhea Chakraborty. In a recent tweet, Kangana had asked people to stop comparing her with ‘small time druggie’ Rhea. To which, Sona Mohapatra replied and called her remark 'disgusting'."To refer to another woman, person as ‘small time druggie’ is nothing short of deeply disturbing & disgusting. I doubt the twitter mob & their leading lights will understand or get the irony of this latest casteist slur made by Ms Ranaut.Enough of this lot. Have to switch to BETTER," Sona Mohapatra tweeted.

Kangana had called out supporters of Rhea along with Sonam Kapoor for comparing her struggles with Rhea Chakraborty's struggles. Kangana's tweet read, "All of sudden mafia bimbos have started to seek justice for Rhea ji through my house tragedy, my fight is for people don’t compare my struggles to a small time druggie who was living off a vulnerable and broken, self made super star, stop this right away."Currently, Kangana is locked into a bitter battle with the Maharashtra govt. Flanked by security guards provided by the Union home ministry, Kangana arrived in Mumbai on September 9, hours after the BMC carried out the demolition. On Thursday, the actor paid a visit to the property, and surveyed the damage.The Y-plus category security cover was provided by the Union home minister Amit Shah after Kangana expressed concerns for her safety following a war of words with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. The controversy started when she said that she feels unsafe in Mumbai, and compared it to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Raut condemned her comments, and advised her not to set foot in Maharashtra.
