Actor Kalyani Priyadarshan recently marked a special milestone in her journey as she received her first award from the Kerala State Youth Commission, recognising young individuals who are inspiring the next generation through their work and influence.

The ceremony took place in Thiruvananthapuram, where Kalyani was honoured among several young achievers across different fields. Dressed gracefully in a pastel green saree, the actor received the award on stage, making the moment particularly meaningful as it marked her first recognition from her home state.

Expressing her gratitude for the honour, she said, “Honoured to stand among so many incredible young voices who are inspiring the next generation in their own fields. Grateful to the Kerala State Youth Commission for this my first award from the state. I hope to live up to the responsibility that comes with it and continue representing our youth and our state with pride.”

Over the years, Kalyani has steadily built a strong presence in South Indian cinema with performances in widely loved films such as Hridayam, Bro Daddy and Thallumaala, which were appreciated by audiences and helped strengthen her popularity.
