Kanika Kapoor has tested positive for Covid-19 after a fifth test was conducted at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS). According to Times Now, following the health protocol for Covid-19 patients will result in the singer being tested again in the next 48 hours and even if Kanika tests negative for Covid-19, she may be put in quarantine for 14 more days.

In an official statement, SGPGIMS director, professor RK Dhiman had stated that Kanika’s condition was stable and there was no cause for worry. He also added that she was taking food normally. Earlier the Baby Doll singer, ad refuted rumours of her being in ICU in an Instagram post on Monday.“ Kanika had first tested positive for Covid-19 more than a week ago and since then she has been in quarantine in Lucknow.
