Karan Kundrra Faces Backlash Over ‘Splitsvilla 16’ Comment, Responds With Cryptic Post

Karan Kundrra got up into a controversy for his recent statement in Splitsvilla 16 , sparking speculation about its meaning and does it have any linked it to his recent comments about relationship. In of the episode he said, "Unke dekh ke aisa lagta hai, kash mera bhi aisa hota," referring to couples who are more like best friends and simply enjoy each other’s company.

While facing lots of backlash Karan responded with post on X,  "Embarrassment hain iykyk." Though he did not clarify further, viewers connected his posts to his remarks on Splitsvilla 16.

Karan Kundrra faced criticism for allegedly demeaning his girlfriend, Tejasswi Prakash, on national television. This followed a user's tweet accusing Karan of using social media to improve his image, failing to acknowledge his mistakes, and prioritizing friends over Tejasswi. 
The criticism stemmed from an episode where Karan expressed envy for couples who prioritize friendship over romance, prompting co-host Sunny Leone to remind him that Tejasswi was watching.

Amid the online backlash, Tejasswi shared vacation photos with Karan, captioning them with a cryptic "I am here… right here," seemingly addressing the controversy. Karan and Tejasswi's relationship began on Bigg Boss 15, evolving from friendship to a highly publicized romance. Tejasswi's mother has reportedly suggested they wait a year before considering marriage.
