Kalidas Jayaram, known for movies such as Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum, Poomaram and Happy Sardar recently had his fanboy moment. The starkid shared a picture with Vijay on his social media. In his post, Kalidas thanked Vijay for meeting him. He said, "Just when you thought things couldn't get any better. #Master meets #Student. Thank you Vijay sir for taking the time and effort, means a lot. #ThalapathyVijay." Kalidas is a fan of Thalapathy and has even mimicked Vijay in a couple of shows.
Thalapathy Vijay will be next seen in the college drama Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film will hit the big screens on January 13. It has Malavika Mohanan as the leading lady, while Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Andrea Jeremiah, Arjun Das, Gauri Kishan will be seen playing crucial roles. Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as the main antagonist. Master will lock horns with Silambarasan TR’s Eeswaran, which will be released on January 14. On the other hand, Kalidas is looking forward to two Malayalam film releases - 'Jack And Jill', a thriller directed by Santosh Sivan, which also stars Manju Warrier and 'Backpackers', which is directed by veteran filmmaker Jayaraj. The film has Delhi-based Karthika Nair as the female lead.
