NCB arrests drug peddler linked to Sushant who has a underworld connect
Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Harish Khan, a drug peddler in Bandra in the drugs case linked to the late Sushant Singh Rajput. According to a Hindustan Times report, Haris Khan had links with gangster and drug peddler Parvez Khan alias Chinku Pathan, an associate of fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Khan was arrested on Tuesday after an NCB team, lead by its zonal director Sameer Wankhede, conducted raids at various locations in suburban Andheri, Lokhandwala, and Bandra, the official said. On May 26, the authorities arrested Siddharth Pithani in Hyderabad.
A few days back, SSR’s househelp Neeraj and cook Keshav Bachner were questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The NCB had arrested Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik last year in the alleged drugs case. After almost a month in jail, she was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in October 2020, in the drug abuse case connected to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Her brother was also later let out on bail. Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020. After his death, CBI, NCB and ED have been investigating the case. Rajput was found hanging at his home in Bandra, Mumbai.
