Tollywood director, Raj Chakraborty has tested positive for COVID -19. The actor is under home quarantine. Other family members including wife Subhashree Ganguly will undergo the test. Raj’s father is hospitalized due to other ailments but he tested negative for the virus, sources suggest. The actor is taking utmost care so that other family members don’t get affected. His wife Subhashree is expecting and opting for all necessary precautions.
Raj was actively involved in his project amid the outbreak. He was busy with his film commitments as well as his TV show ‘Kopal Kundala.' The filmmaker tweeted the news of his test on Monday afternoon.“I have been tested COVID-19 positive. My father has been hospitalized recently, but he has been tested negative both the time. In home quarantine right now. Rest of my family members will be testing for COVID-19 too. These are the trying times,” the director tweeted. Some of the other notable celebs who have tested positive include Koel Mallick, Neel Bhattacharya, Surajit Bandyopadhyay, and Pritiy Biswas.
