In a major development, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have cancelled the star-studded red carpet event due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the state. As per a report, the couple has taken the decision keeping in mind the coronavirus variant Omicron outbreak. They are exchanging vows today but the ceremony will be a private affair without the paparazzi.

As per a report by ETimes, in a statement, the couple has informed the paparazzi that the red carpet event has been cancelled. They have requested the paparazzi to send their best wishes. For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Vicky Jain today (December 14). The couple began their pre-wedding festivities last week. They hosted a lavish sangeet ceremony on Monday, which was attended by Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut. Ankita had made her Bollywood debut in Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika which was helmed by the Queen actress.
