Parveen Khan, Mother of Zareen Khan, Passes Away at 65 After Prolonged Illness

Parveen Khan, the mother of actress Zareen Khan, died early on Wednesday, April 8. Zareen was very vocal about her mother's illness. Her mother was in the hospital for a while, and Zareen had requested fans earlier to pray for her speedy recovery. Regretfully, Parveen's staff confirmed that she died in Mumbai at the age of 65. Parveen Khan's burial will be held today at the Versova Muslim Kabrastan in Andheri. Zareen's team released the following statement: "This is to inform that our beloved Ms Parveen Khan, mother of Zareen Khan and Sana Khan, has departed peacefully to her heavenly abode on the 8th of April."

As of now, Zareen has not issued any statement about her mother's death.

On Instagram, Zareen Khan had been providing frequent updates regarding her mother's condition. "Mom's hospitalised again... Please keep her in your prayers!" she wrote on social media in February. She has been discreetly requesting that supporters and admirers offer prayers for her mother's healing.

Zareen lost her cherished pet cat Rambo the day before her mother passed away. "My Baby left me this morning to unite with his siblings," she posted alongside a photo on Instagram Story. Mera Bachcha, mera Rambo, 18.07.2011–07.04.2026, rest in peace.
