Puneet Rajkumar's heart rate and pressure levels were normal before death

Dr. Ramana Rao in a major disclosure on Puneet Rajkumar's death has stated that the late actor's condition was fairly stable at the time of consultation. Dr. Rao, Puneeth's personal physician, would later refer the actor to Vikram Hospital after noticing a strain in the ECG although his both blood pressure and heartbeat rate were normal around 11:20 a.m. on the 29th of October.

Stating that the actor complained of some weakness and was sweating at the time he saw him, Dr. Ramana Rao told the online daily that Puneeth Rajkumar's blood pressure read 150/92 and his heart rate too seemed in control. When quizzed about the sweating, Puneeth stated that he had just come for the consultation straight from the gym after his routine exercise, a little bit of boxing, and some extra steam. Puneeth Rajkumar's lungs too were clear and he complained of no pain in his chest. However, despite reaching Vikram Hospital within minutes, would encounter another cardiac arrest soon after which proved to be a fatal one, ultimately taking his life. Quite perplexed himself about the tragic turn of events, Dr. Rao would assert that Puneeth Rajkumar was a fitness enthusiast and lived his life with happy thoughts but death came calling regardless. Puneeth, as the physician would go on to reveal, was not diabetic and did not have any hypertension issues either. The Kannada film star's last rites were performed on Sunday in presence of close family members, politicians and friends. Fans thronged outside Kanteerava Studios in Bengaluru to stand by their beloved 'Power Star' during last minutes. The final rites were conducted as per the traditions of Ediga community of the Hindu religion.
