Mumbai, Dec 25 Popular television actress Rajshree Thakur took a ride on the iconic Mumbai local to celebrate the city's unsung multitaskers who, just like her “Bas Itna Sa Khwaab” character Avani Trivedi, balance home and work responsibilities.

Talking about the experience, Rajshree said: “As Avani in Bas Itna Sa Khwaab, I have the privilege of portraying a woman who decides to step outside the house to contribute to the family's collective dream of a bigger home while staying rooted in her responsibilities at home. Meeting these incredible women on the train was truly humbling.”

“They are so similar to my character. They represent the strength, perseverance, and quiet heroism that hold our society together. Their stories of juggling long commutes, demanding jobs, and family responsibilities are deeply inspiring.”

Rajashree not only surprised the female passengers. She also had heartfelt conversations about their struggles and triumphs, played antakshari and shared Mumbai’s favorite snack, vada pav.

She said that each interaction reminded her of how extraordinary everyday women are.

“I hope my portrayal of Avani encourages more women to chase their dreams while finding the balance they deserve.”

“Bas Itna Sa Khwaab” airs every day on Zee TV.

Talking about Rajshree, she made her film debut in the 2004 movie “Hava Aney Dey.”

She made her debut with the immensely popular show Saat Phere – Saloni Ka Safar and also acted in the role of Maharani Jaiwanta Bai Songara (Maharana Pratap's Mother) in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap.

In August 2020, the actress played the female lead role of Preeti Jindal in Shaadi Mubarak opposite Manav Gohil. She quit the show in October due to hectic schedule. She was last seen in Appnapan – Badalte Rishton Ka Bandhan.

She married her childhood friend Sanjot Vaidya, in a Hindu wedding ceremony in February 2007.The couple welcomed their daughter, Nyraa in August 2017.
