Salman Khan Express Views on 'Sikandar' Co-Star Rashmika Mandanna's Performance in 'Chhaava' Film

Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna turnout to be a massive hit on box-office. The movie received a significant love from all over India. Celebrities also appreciated the cast and their acting in the movie. Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sikandar is released on Eid i.e 30th March and did pretty well opening on box-office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Sikandar collected Rs 29 crore on Monday, boosting its total earnings to Rs 55 crore. The film had earned Rs 26 crore on its opening day, showing a positive trend as the festive season added to its appeal. Amid this Salman Khan recently expressed his views on Rashmika Mandanna's performance in Chhaava. 

During the promotion of recently released film Sikandar Salman khan reacted and expressed his view on Chhaava movie. Rashmika Mandanna, who stars alongside Salman in Sikandar, also plays the role of Maharani Yesubai in Chhaava. Salman praised Rashmika Mandanna's movie, saying, "Chhaava is a very good film. Vicky has done an excellent job, and Rashmika has also performed really well."

While addressing the dominance of Khan trio in Salman said, "Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, there are many other actors Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and several others from the new generation. Vicky’s Chhaava has done business of over rs 500 crore. So why always focus on just Shah Rukh, Aamir, and Salman? Bollywood is not defined by just these three names. Many other actors and actresses who have worked hard should also be recognized."

On Monday, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 24.60%. The morning shows saw 8.38% occupancy, while the afternoon and night screenings had 26.70% and 30.18%, respectively. Salman Khan’s Eid releases have consistently performed well at the box office, and Sikandar appears to be following the trend.

About the Film

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s return to the big screen after a brief hiatus. Originally slated for a 2024 release, the film faced multiple delays before hitting theaters this year. Murugadoss, known for Tamil hits like Thuppakki, Spyder, and Darbar, made his Bollywood debut with Ghajini in 2008.

The film features a strong ensemble cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi. With positive audience reception and strong box office numbers, Sikandar is expected to continue its successful run in the coming days.
