Veteran actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik recently tested positive for coronavirus. He took to Twitter to inform his fans and followers about his condition. The actor also urged who came in his contact in the last couple of days to get themselves tested. His friend and colleague Anupam Kher wished for Kaushik's fast recovery and wrote that he was certain the Kaagaz director would write a “great” script during his quarantine. Now as per a E-times report,  days following the announcement, the actor was in a bit of discomfort and his doctors advised him to get admitted to a hospital. Kaushik was rushed to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital and has been receiving treatment since.

The actor's spokesperson confirmed the same to the portal saying, "Yes, Satish ji is currently admitted in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He is recovering well. He was planning to get vaccinated for COVID-19; however, when he got tested after experiencing some weakness, he found that he was positive.
