Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan arrived at Dilip Kumar's residence to pay his last respects. Shah Rukh has been extremely close to Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu. The actor was seen consoling a tear-eyed Saira Banu.Dilip Kumar was first admitted to the hospital on June 6 and was put on oxygen support and stable. Dilip Kumar, known to generations of film-goers as ‘tragedy king,’ was rushed to the hospital on June 30 after complaining of breathlessness. 

His family friend Faisal Farooqui confirmed the news of the actor’s death on Twitter. “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return,” read Farooqui’s tweet via Dilip Kumar’s official Twitter handle. Dilip Kumar’s last rites will be performed at Juhu Muslim Cemetery in Santacruz West, around 5 pm. The actor’s funeral will take place with full state honours.  Dilip Kumar passed away today in Mumbai. He was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of at a hospital in Khar, on June 29, after reportedly complaining of breathlessness.
