Superstar Kamal Haasan is one of the most veratile stars in the entertainment industry and today on his 64th birthday his daughter Shruti extended a special wish for her dad. In a heart - warming message Shruti addressed her father as bapuji. The 'Luck' actress wrote, "Happy birthday Bapuji @ikamalhaasan ❤️ such a special birthday marking 60 years of your work in cinema , we get to go back to paramakudi we get to celebrate atthis life as well and most importantly we get to be a part of your very special life :) love you lots pappa."

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee also wished the actor with a beautiful message which read, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wrote, "Wishing you a very happy birthday Kamal Haasan Ji. The country needs more strong voices like you." Kamal started his cinematic journey at the age of five in the year 1960 with the film 'Kalathur Kannamma.'The ace actor also won the President's Gold Medal for the movie.
