Sidharth Malhotra begins filming for Dharma Productions’ Yodha' shares first look

Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra has begin shooting for Dharma Productions’ first action film franchise Yodha. Dharma Productions shared the on-set pictures from the day of the filming. “Lights, camera and ACTION! #Yodha filming begins,” a post on Dharma Productions’ official handle read.The movie will be helmed by debutant director duo Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre. Shashank Khaitan is also producing via his banner Mentor Disciple Films. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on November 11, 2022.

Yodha is the first action franchise from Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Earlier, Karan attached a motion poster during the announcement of the film. The clip began with a glimpse of a burning plane, before the camera zoomed in and focused on Malhotra’s character, wearing combat gear and looking ready for a fight. Johar wrote in his post, “After conquering the peaks, I am proud to present Sidharth Malhotra back with power in the first of the action franchise by Dharma Productions – #Yodha. Directed by the dynamic duo – Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha. Landing in cinemas near you on 11th November, 2022.”
