Salman Khan’s latest action thriller Sikandar made a strong debut at the box office. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, earned Rs 26 crore on its opening day in India and Rs 54 crore worldwide.

Sikandar Day 1 Box Office Performance

Sikandar was released a day before Eid, continuing Salman Khan’s tradition of festive releases. The film had a good start, though its opening day figures fell short of some of his past Eid blockbusters.

Despite strong pre-release buzz, the film’s first-day performance did not surpass initial industry expectations. Trade analysts had predicted Sikandar might join the Rs 500-crore club, a milestone achieved by Gadar 2, Pathaan, Jawan, Animal, and Chhaava.

With Eid celebrations set to boost theatre footfall, Sikandar is expected to see a significant jump in collections. Salman Khan’s previous Eid releases have benefited from strong second-day growth, and industry experts believe Sikandar could surpass its global opening figures within days.
