Renowned singer Malavika who was tested positive for coronavirus has denied news of her attending a TV show with singer SP Balasubrahmanyam after testing positive for COVID-19. It is alleged  that the singer contracted the virus after attending a TV show for a Telugu channel. For the past couple of days, rumours are doing the rounds on social media  that playback  Malavika attended the show despite being coronavirus positive. She took to Facebook to deny any such news. 

Malavika further added that she has filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime to take action against people who are circulating fake messages on social media and Whatsapp. According to Malavika's post, SP Balasubrahmanyam, along with other singers like Hemachandra, Anudeep, Pranavi, Lipsika and others shot for a TV show on July 30. Apart from SPB and Malavika, singer Sunita Upadrasta also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. For the unversed, Malavika, her father, mother and two-year-old daughter has been tested positive for COVID-19. From celebrities to general public, Chennai has ben continously praying for S P Balasubramaniam, who continued to be critical and is on life support battling COVID-19. The popular singer, admitted to the hospital on August 5 after he tested positive for coronavirus
