The report adds, Sunny Leone's spot boy and Sonnalli Seygall's spot boy and hairdresser have tested positive for the virus.  In addition, two more crew members of 'Anamika' have contracted COVID. Bhatt had no option but to call for a stop. Bhatt has been taking all the precautions during the shoot. This was the last thing he wanted since there's just four days of work left before he wraps up the series. Sunny and Sonnalli also got the RT-PCR test done after their staff tested positive; however their report has come negative and both are heaving a sigh of relief.

While Speaking to E-times, the veteran director said,  Sunny and Sonnali's staff members have tested positive for COVID. They are in quarantine and I am not shooting for now. Yes, consequently we had to stop the shoot. "A lot of film and web series' shoots are getting derailed. It is really unfortunate that certain sets cannot be pulled down as that would involve a humongous cost to re-erect them, but then, keeping them intact is also going to be a costly affair as the shoots, which have stopped, are not likely to start very soon. 'Anamika' marks the debut of Sunny Leone in the fiction OTT space. The series will see Sonalli play an assassin. The actress underwent special training for the action sequences in the web series. . The series will include 10 episodes and it will be released soon on MX Player. Sunny is not just playing a lead role in Anamika but she will also be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. Anamika is a story about a girl, who is a trained assassin and she is someone who has lost her family. She then finds another trained assassin who has been sent to kill her. It is  produced under the banner of Loneranger by Vikram Bhatt and Krishna Bhatt.
