Sushant Singh steps down as a host from Savdhaan India

Protests are going on all over the country regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act. Along with the northeastern states, Jamia and many well-known university students in the country protested against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Not only syudents but Bollywood and TV artists also expressed their opinion against this law. Bollywood actor and host Sushant Singh of Saavdhan India also participated in the protests, but had to leave the show as a host. Sushant Singh himself tweeted this information . 

Sushant Singh tweeted about Savdhaan India and wrote;

Questioning Sushant Singh's tweet, a user wrote that 'The price you pay for speaking the truth?', To this, Sushant Singh replied to the user, "A very small price my friend". Many people are also appreciating his decision of stepping down. Bollywood actress Sandhya Mridul praised Sushant Singh's move, writing, "This person always stands for truth. Salute to you my friend."

Sushant Singh has been hosting Saavdhan India since 2012. Apart from Savdhaan India, he has also played important role in many films.
