Along with the northeastern states, Jamia and many well-known university students in the country protested against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Not only syudents but Bollywood and TV artists also expressed their opinion against this law. Bollywood actor and host Sushant Singh of Saavdhan India also participated in the protests, but had to leave the show as a host. Sushant Singh himself tweeted this information .
