Bollywood's dancing queen Saroj Khan breathed her last today at a private hospital in Mumbai. Fondly called as, ‘Master ji’ the 71-year old has choreographed some of Bollywood's most iconic dance numbers. One of tinsel towns most hardworking artists she always admired honesty of others. The National Award winner was also known for her outspoken nature and did not mince words while sharing and giving advice to others. 

In a throwback interview with a news portal, Shah Rukh Khan had narrated an incident where he revealed that he was working with the dance master during his initial days and he was working three shifts. He once told her that he was tired of all the work. Replying to this, Saroj Khan slapped him on the cheek lovingly and told him that he should never say that he has too much of work.Last year, in an interview, Saroj Khan had revealed that she has stopped getting work in Bollywood and has been missing the sets of the film. Salman Khan came to her rescue and had promised to give her work. Saroj Khan's last work was Karan Johar's Kalank wherein she choerographed the song Tabah Ho Gaye on Madhuri Dixit
