Upon investigation, BOOM found that the viral video consists of two separate videos. The first segment, featuring the song "Deva Shree Ganesha" with people clapping, is from the 50th-anniversary celebration at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on January 19, 2025. During this event, several top cricketers, including India's ODI Captain Rohit Sharma and former cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, attended, and Ajay-Atul performed live. This clip was also uploaded on Instagram, with the caption clearly stating it was from the Wankhede Stadium.
The second segment of the video, showing a packed stadium, was taken from the India vs. England match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on February 12, 2025. A reverse image search revealed that the video was posted on February 13, 2025, with the caption identifying it as from the third ODI between India and England, where the scoreboard reads England - 175/8. This shows that the video was not from the India vs. Pakistan match, which took place on February 23, 2025, in Dubai.
The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy is being hosted by Pakistan, but due to India's refusal to travel there, the Pakistan Cricket Board opted for a hybrid model, with India's matches being held in Dubai.
