After three employees tested positive for coronavirus, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) on Thursday directed to seal the second floor of its headquarters Varunalaya Complex in Jhandewalan till May 30.

In an order, Paras Ram, Director (administration and personnel), DJB, said the floor will be sealed from the second half of Thursday till May 30.

"As three employees working in the office of the law officer, DJB, have been found Covid-19 positive, in accordance with the guidelines and SOPs on preventive measures to contain spread of Covid-19 in workplace issued by the (Union) Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as well as by the Government of Delhi, it is hereby ordered that the second floor of Varunalaya Complex, Phase-Il, will remain close from the second half of May 28 to May 30," the order said.

The order also directed the authorities to sanitise the entire building complex immediately.
