Kerala records seven new Covid-19 cases, 147 under treatment

Kerala On Thursday reported seven new coronavirus positive case in the past 24 hours, and the total number of people currently under treatment is 147, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said.

Thiruvananthapuram, April 16 Kerala On Thursday reported seven new coronavirus positive case in the past 24 hours, and the total number of people currently under treatment is 147, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said.

The cumulative number of cases, including those cured, is 394.

"We are doing well in bringing down the number of cases because of the strong vigil," said Vijayan, adding that there are 88,323 people under observation at homes and 532 at various hospitals in the state.

The Kerala Police on Thursday registered 2,941 cases, arresting 2,863 people and impounding 2,048 vehicles for breaking curfew norms.
