Bhubaneswar, June 28 Odisha has reported three more deaths due to COVID-19, taking the toll in the state to 21, said the health department on Sunday.

The three deaths have been reported from Ganjam, Cuttack and Khurdha districts. They were under treatment.

A 75-year-old man of Ganjam, who was suffering from diabetes and hypertension, succumbed to the virus, said the department.

Besides, a 65-year-old man of Cuttack district, who was suffering from diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease, and a 73-year-old man of Bhubaneswar, who was also suffering from diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease, died due to the infection of the deadly virus.

Odisha has reported 264 fresh COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, taking the tally to 6,614.

The active cases now stand at 1,980 and recoveries at 4,606 in the state.
