Donald Trump Claims US Military Destroyed Targets in Iran
US President Donald J Trump, in his social media post, Truth Social, on Monday, March 30, claimed that US struck important targets in Iran. Praising US armed forces, he said, "Many long sought after targets have been taken out and destroyed by our GREAT MILITARY, the finest and most lethal in the World."
On the Middle East war, Trump has said, "Big day in Iran." This comes shortly after the US President made a claim that the US has changed regime in Iran. "We've had regime change. We're dealing with different people than anybody's dealt with before. It's a whole different group of people. So I would consider that regime change," he told reporters aboard Air Force One. "I do see a deal in Iran. Could be soon," he said in reply to a question.

He said US Navy and Air Force had destroyed several targets on Sunday in Iran. "It was a big day. And we are negotiating with them directly and indirectly," he said further. Trump added that his reversal of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) by former US President Barack Obama resulted in the prevention of Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
