Florida Shooting: US Rapper Offset Injured at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood; Two Detained

US rapper Offset was injured in a shooting at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on Monday evening, April 6. According to reports, at least two people were detained by Seminole Police. 

The incident took place near the hotel's valet area around 7 pm. However, the injury to Offset is not life-threatening. He was transported to  Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood by officials.

As per the rapper's spokesperson, who spoke to TMZ, said Offset is "fine" and "is currently at the hospital receiving medical care." He further stated that he is in stable condition and being closely monitored by a team of doctors.

An investigation is underway into how the shooting unfolded. Meanwhile, police issued a statement asking people not to panic as there is no threat to the public. Officials have not released the identities of the two suspects who were detained.
