Indiana Knife Attack: Multiple Injured in Stabbing at Lotus Center in Terre Haute; Suspect Arrested

Multiple people injured in stabbing in Terre Haute, Indiana on Sunday night, February 8. One suspect has been taken into custody following the attack at the Lotus Centre, which triggered a significant emergency response to the local facility.

Officers from the Terre Haute Police Department (THPD) reached to the scene shortly before 8:00 pm on Sunday. Upon arrival at the Lotus Centre, first responders located several individuals suffering from stab wounds. First aid is given on-site before transporting the victims to nearby hospitals via ambulance.

The THPD confirmed that while multiple people were hurt, all injuries are currently classified as non-life-threatening. The exact number of victims involved has not yet been officially released.

Authorities successfully detained one suspect at the scene. The individual, whose identity has been withheld pending formal charges, was also transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the incident.
