The Indian Armed Forces gave a strong reply to Pakistan’s attempt to carry out drone attacks on cities near the Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Punjab borders. The Indian military intercepted and destroyed drones and missiles. In a significant development, the Indian Navy has launched an offensive against Pakistan. The Navy’s aircraft carrier INS Vikrant carried out a powerful strike on Karachi Port, causing heavy damage. According to the reports. the supply chain has been disrupted and communication between Karachi and Islamabad has been reportedly severed.

This is the first time since the 1971 war that India has targeted a major Pakistani city with such force. Karachi is considered the economic capital of Pakistan. Military sources said that INS Vikrant and other warships targeted Pakistan’s naval bases, fuel depots and key military camps during night operations. The Indian Navy used precision-guided missiles and long-range weapons fired from the sea in the attack.

Explosions Shake Pakistan in Multiple Cities

Explosions were reported in Lahore, Sialkot, Karachi and Islamabad.  The strikes sent a clear message that India will no longer tolerate attacks and will respond strongly. Experts said the attack crippled Pakistan’s economy, military infrastructure and morale.

Retired Vice Admiral R. K. Singh said the attack on Karachi will have major long-term consequences. Karachi is not only the main base of the Pakistani Navy but also a vital hub for oil and fuel supply. India’s strike has dealt a major blow to Pakistan’s backbone, Singh added.
