Philadelphia Shooting: One Dead, Two Injured in Firing Near Temple University in Pennsylvania

The injured were transported to Temple University Hospital by Housing Police, where one of them was declared dead during treatment for his injuries at 7:45 pm. No arrests have been made so far. Law enforcement agencies are responding to the situation and have restricted the area for citizens.

One was dead, and three others were injured on Monday night, April 14, in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The incident took place near Temple University on the 1500 block of North 18th Street, according to international media. Three people were shot at during gunfire by an unidentified gunman.

The suspect is still at large and has not been identified yet. The wanted gunman has a $20,000 reward on his head. Anyone who provides information to the Philadelphia Police Department will receive a cash prize. People are being asked to come forward by reaching out to the police with any relevant tips.

Philadelphia has recorded 56 homicides this year, which is more than a 38% drop compared to last year. The city entered 2024 with its lowest number of homicides in a decade, based on official statistics, reported India Today.
