The Duke of Cambridge Prince Willam  took to his official social media page today to inform about his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The official Twitter account of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted a picture of the Royal taking his first jab. In the picture, Prince William can be seen sitting on a chair as a medical professional administers the first jab. The image was captioned, “On Tuesday I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. To all those working on the vaccine rollout - thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do (sic).”

For the unversed, Prince William tested positive for Covid-19 last April, the same time as his father, heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles. However, he kept the news secret until November. At that time, he had said that he did so because he did not want to alarm anyone as he had been hit pretty badly by the virus.Apart from Prince William, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall had also got vaccinated. Prince Charles tested positive for coronavirus in March last year after displaying mild symptoms. While Prince William got his jab, It is not yet clear if wife Kate Middleton also took the vaccine.
