An F-15 US fighter jet crashed in Kuwait on Monday, March 2, according to reports. The pilot of the crashed jet ejected safely and was transported to a medical facility by a group of Kuwaitis. A video of the incident was shared on social media platforms.

Videos shared on X (formerly Twitter) show a fighter jet descending from a certain height and hitting the ground before bursting into huge flames. Follow Latest Update on US-Israel Attack Iran.

The U.S. F-15 fighter jet pilot who was down over Kuwait moments ago in a friendly fire incident is alive.

Another video shows some unidentified locals in Kuwait putting the injured pilot of the crashed jet in a car to take him to the medical facility. The pilot landed by parachute after their warplane crashed west of Kuwait.

The exact cause of the crash of the F-15 Strike Eagle has not been revealed yet, and US authorities are expected to conduct a detailed investigation at the site.
The crash comes at a time of increased tensions in middle east, where Iran continues to strike in retaliation for US-Israel attacks in Tehran, which had resulting the death of Iran's Supreme Leader. Kuwait also house US military base, which has recently intercepted missiles fired by Tehran.
