Recipe:-

  • First of all, take the sago in a mixer bowl and grind it until it becomes a fine powder. Take the sago flour that has been prepared in the mixer and grind it to a fine powder in a bowl.
  • Now add a little water to it and mix the mixture well. Then cover this mixture for half an hour and let the sago flour rise.
  • Once the dough rises properly, add salt to it according to taste. Add salt and then pour this batter into the mixer bowl again and grind it in the mixer.
  • Mix this batter in a mixer and make a smooth paste. Fill this prepared paste in a piping bag. If you do not have a piping bag, fill this mixture in a milk bag or any thick plastic bag and shape it like a mehndi cone and cut the bottom slightly.
  • Spread a little oil on a plastic or steel plate. Then, with the help of a piping bag, take out circular-shaped sago rings on it and keep them under a fan to dry for 3 to 4 hours. You can dry them properly for 2 to 3 days even in hot summer and store them for eating throughout the year.
  • After drying these sago rings under a fan for 2 to 3 hours, fry them in hot oil.

In this way, you can quickly prepare and eat these instant sago rings on the fasting day of Mahashivratri this year. You can also store them for a year.
