Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis share stage in Pune

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis shared the stage in Pune on Friday for the inauguration of a Covid-19 hospital.

Both the leaders came together after the oath-taking ceremony in November last year, when they had joined hands in a bid to form the state government but failed afte the NCP, Shiv Sena and the Congress came together to form the Maha Vikas Aghadi government.

The hospital has been set up by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)in Baner, with financial aid from the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of various agencies and foundations.

Pune Municipal Corporation’s multi-storey Covid-19 hospital was inaugurated by the leaders. Bhartiya Janta Party’s state unit president Chandrakant Patil was also present along with Fadnavis and Pawar.

Interestingly, Fadnavis praised Pawar's work carried out in Pune district but was quick to criticise the Maha Vikas Aghadi government and Shiv Sena on the Covid-19 situation in Mumbai.
