The number of corona patients in the Maharashtra has decreased in the last two days. The number of covid cases in the state started seeing a surge since the month of February. However, the number of corona patients decreased during Holi and Rang Panchami.

More than half of the daily corona cases in the country are from Maharashtra alone. Mumbai has a big share in it. Brihanmumbai Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal has said that another wave of corona has hit the city. In the last 49 days, 91,000 corona patients have been found in Mumbai. Of these, 74,000 patients had no symptoms of corona. However, they tested positive for the virus. Remaining 17,000 patients showed by very limited symptoms of covid.

Those who do not have corona symptoms, but have tested positive for the virus have been advised to stay at home in isolation. For which their hands are being stamped. If people with stamp on their hands are found in public places, an FIR will be registered against them. They may even be arrested.

9,900 hospital beds in Mumbai are fully occupied. This week, 4,000 beds will be made available online. The government does not want lockdown. "People will not need a lockdown if they follow the Covid rules," Chahal said.

The death toll from corona in Mumbai is under control. Minimal restrictions are in place in the city, Chahal said.
