Latur Shocker: 25-Year-Old Woman Jumps Into Well With Two Children After Family Dispute
Maharashtra: A 25-year-old woman allegedly jumped into well with her two minor children Latur. She took this extreme step following a family dispute leading to their death. This tragic incident occurred at Kharosa village in Ausa tehsil around Sunday midnight.
The woman, identified as Nikita Amardeep Bhure, along with her children Shivani (5) and Shivansh (3), jumped into a well located adjacent to their residence, police inspector Dr Vishal Shahane told PTI.
In separate incident a 16-year-old girl who attempted suicide after being raped allegedly by her paternal uncle died on Friday, April 10, while undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Maharashtra's Beed district, a police official told the news agency PTI. The girl was raped on April 5 in a remote village in the Balaghat mountain range while returning home from a nearby cattle shed, triggering outrage among residents of Kaij tehsil.

"She consumed poison in distress shortly after the incident. She died at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Government Medical College and Hospital where she was admitted in a critical condition," Kaij police station sub inspector Umesh Nikam said. The main accused has been arrested, while his associate is on the run, the official said.
