Maharashtra Govt Transfers 25 IAS Officers Ahead of Census Work

As many as 25 IAS officers were transferred across Maharashtra in a single day on Thursday, April 2. The reshuffle includes District Collectors, Commissioners, Chief Executive Officers and Additional Commissioners in several districts.

All the transferred officers are expected to undergo census training soon. The census exercise is likely to continue for one-and-a-half to two years. The Census Commissioner’s Office had directed that census responsibilities be assigned to these officers, and the Central Personnel Office had asked the state government to comply.

Key Transfers:

Kumar Ashirwad, District Collector of Solapur, has been appointed as Nagpur District Collector.

S. Karthikeyan, CEO of Kolhapur Zilla Parishad, is now Solapur District Collector.

Vinay Gowda, District Collector of Chandrapur, has been posted as District Collector of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.

Vasumana Pant has been appointed District Collector of Chandrapur.

Praveen Kumar Deore, Animal Husbandry Commissioner, Pune, is now Buldhana District Collector, while Kiran 

Patil has been moved to Pune as Animal Husbandry Commissioner.

Deepak Singla has been transferred as Commissioner, MGNREGA, Nagpur.
K. Manjulaxmi has been appointed Additional Commissioner, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority.

Bharat Bastevad is the new Latur District Collector.

Dr Vijay Rathod has been appointed Kolhapur District Collector.

Dr Mangesh Gondawale has been posted as Gondia District Collector.

Prajit Nair is now Additional Municipal Commissioner, Pune.

Varsha Thakur Ghuge has been appointed Joint CEO, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Mumbai.

G. Srikanth is now Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission, Navi Mumbai.

Amol Yedge has been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.

Ankit has been appointed Additional Municipal Commissioner, Nagpur.

Dilip Swamy is now Managing Director, Maharashtra State Seed Corporation, Akola.

Anjali Sharma has been appointed Municipal Commissioner, Jalna Municipal Corporation.

Minnu P. M. has been posted as CEO, Zilla Parishad, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.

Shrikrishna Kant Kanwaria is now CEO, Zilla Parishad, Jalna.

Varsha Ladda has been appointed Municipal Commissioner, Amravati Municipal Corporation.

Dr Rajendra Bharud is now Municipal Commissioner, Kolhapur Municipal Corporation.

Satyam Gandhi has been posted as CEO, Zilla Parishad, Amravati.

Sangeeta Mohapatra is now Municipal Commissioner, Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad Municipal Corporation.
